Today, both FFA teams for Horse Judging are going to Nationals after WINNING and the other team getting 4th from State! I’m so proud of them :)

This week, Swoop and I are going to start up jumping again. I have this horse under 3 weeks of conditioning; an hour a day, 6 days a week under his girth already. With him already knowing how to jump, I should have this horse up to 4 fences of 2 foot by the end of the week. Maverick, I will be continuing to walk-trot. He “jumps” over poles with me, which is better than him refusing him, so by the end of next week I want him walking over them in confidence. Duke’s main goal this week is to get that head at a consistent western pleasure frame. I have his jog down pat! Thing that stinks with this, I can’t use any extra aids with Duke but my spurs (which I try not to use) because he has these insanely large pockets of muscle right behind his shoulder from my english saddle no longer fitting him after he got fat. In addition, my western saddle makes him stiff. So riding bareback and daily massages will get that going away so at least his english saddle will fit him again. So, those are my horse updates!

Thirdly belongs to my good old personal life. Thursday I am going back up to school to visit on my two days off to wish the sophomore horse judges luck and goodbye seeing as they are near graduation. I also get to see my good ol friend Andrew, which means hopefully very good things for Sarah!

Got to get up early in the morning to feed the horses. Then I have 4 I need to groom/bathe, 3 to ride and a western saddle to polish the living shit out of because the damn thing is squeaking like crazy again! My spring break is going by way to fast :( Hard to believe I’ll be in Tennessee in a week for horse judging…

We definitely do not have a normal “cuddle buddy” relationship. The fact that you said all but 5 words to me today and i couldn’t look you in the eye for some reason after spending all night with you last night is pretty damn funny to me. Probably the reason I didn’t get a text from you tonight; which I am fine with. My full sized normal leveled bed is better than your twin sized high up bed. Just sayin

Haven’t heard that from him in almost a month, usually it’s me saying it. Gettin somewhere kids, gettin somewhere.

Dustin fell asleep on me and I have to work in the morning (ok I work every morning, lets face it), so this is my que to put on some tunes and go to bed. Starting with the song “I’m Sorry” from Blake Shelton’s new album. I have his and Chris Young’s on repeat right now lol. Well night kids!
